How Do I Meet People?

Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY SMALL “HOME” GROUPS- DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR
Small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, Calvary Crossroads has three ongoing home groups, one in Wenatchee and two in East Wenatchee. The size of the group is anywhere from six to sixteen. Director is Rod Giuntoli. Find out more when you come to church or call the office!
WEDNESDAY WEEKLY MORNING PRAYER TIME
All are welcome to meet with a few people in the Library at 10 am for some old fashioned prayer time for our missionaries and others. Feel free to pop in whenever you feel like it.

Crossfire (Youth Ministry)
On Wednesday nights 6-8 pm, over 30 Middle School, Junior High, and Senior High School aged youth gather at the church campus to meet with one another, play some silly and/or serious games, share some snacks, and be challenged in the Word by Pastor Jim or whoever who brings the message. There are age-appropriate breakout sessions after each message that are led by the adult sponsors who help Pastor Jim and Debbie. There is also an early Sunday morning class for Crossfire teens grades 7-12th that meet at 9:30 am to 10:20 am in Pastor Jim Jensen office.
AWANA- DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR
A-W-A-N-A stands for: “Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed”, 2 Timothy 2:15. This is an excellent ministry to children on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Children are taught God’s Word in an environment that makes learning fun and enjoyable. There are Bible memorization goals & rewards, invigorating games, and age-appropriate Bible lessons that give each child a sense of accomplishment as well as a healthy self-perspective.

FLOCK GROUP
Thursday morning “Flock Group” started years ago when all of Crossroads’ small groups were called “flock groups” rather than “home groups”. Some folks who didn’t like driving at night preferred to meet on Thursday mornings and it was an instant hit! They usually gather in the Church Fellowship Hall but during the winter months they meet in the Fireside Room for some sweet fellowship at 10:30 am and have prayer and a Bible study before they share a delicious lunch of homemade soup and goodies! Contacts are: Barb Steer and Pat Jones.
